Questions?

What should I expect at my first treatment?

Please arrive a few minutes early at your first appointment to fill out a short medical history form. I will review this with you before your treatment to ensure massage is safe and appropriate in your case. Very few medical conditions prevent massage. We will discuss the areas and methods of treatment for any specific  problems you may have. If you simply want a full body treatment to promote relaxation, we will use this time to determine what type of massage will be most useful.

You will then be left to undress privately in the massage room. You will be covered by a sheet throughout your treatment to protect  your privacy; only the area being massaged will be uncovered.

Your actual treatment will last about  55 minutes. Each treatment is designed based on your requirements, but will probably include a mixture of Swedish, Shiatsu, and Reflexology methods. I may suggest adding essential oils to enhance the effectiveness of the treatment.

During your massage session, we will be working together to meet your goals, but the final choice about methods and oils used will be yours.

Will my personal information be shared with anyone else?

What type of payment do you accept?

You can pay in cash, or by credit card – Visa and Mastercard are accepted. Personal checks are accepted if a valid picture ID is presented. I reserve the right to change or restrict the payment methods at any time.

Do you accept medical insurance/Medicare cases?
